Unlike standard alembics, this one is equipped with a column. The column alembic is perfect for making floral waters, essential oils, hydrosols, and also for exquisite alcohol. To make the alcohol aromatic, various ingredients are placed in the column. The steam, passing through the organic matter, captures the essential oils, thereby enhancing the taste of the final product.
These copper alembics are incredibly attractive and practical. They are made of high-quality copper at 99%, providing an unparalleled taste to the produced alcohol and would be an excellent gift for anyone.
If desired, the alembic can be transformed into a classic alembic by removing the column. You will be able to control the temperature of the steam and monitor the heating during distillation thanks to the thermometer provided with this model.
A funnel is included in the set. Now, the product can be placed not only in the column but also in the container. This increases the amount of the obtained product.
When distilling a common wort with the column, you get a purer and stronger product. The column is cooled by air, and only the alcohol vapors pass through it. The other evaporations condense on the walls of the column and flow back into the container.
All connections of the distillation container are made by soldering. This ensures reliable sealing. The alembic is very easy to use, even for an inexperienced distiller.
The purity of the copper used is a fundamental factor in obtaining elite alcohol in the alembic. This metal is resistant to the action of fruity acids, and the taste and aromatic characteristics of the raw material will not change. Placing the sieve will prevent the mash from sticking to the walls of the alembic, thus extending its lifespan.
